The EMP is a new, evidence-based approach that supports you to be an active partner in your care.

It involves your GP working with you to create a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan (GPCCMP) to help manage endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain over time.

There is no cure for endometriosis, but symptoms can be managed with personalised care.

How the Endometriosis Management
Plan (EMP) helps

EMP support covers symptoms, such as pain, heavy menstrual bleeding, infertility and mental health concerns; treatments, referrals and patient actions and goals.

The EMP helps you and your GP to:

Each patient:

  • receives a digital or printed copy of their plan

  • can access relevant EMP information online

a difference in people's lives.”
